Brand & Campaign Illustration

Starbucks Pride Campaign

I got the once in a lifetime chance to work on the Starbucks Pride project with a stellar team of Starbucks partners, to celebrate 50 years since the Stonewall Riots, along with intersectionality,
inclusion and personal stories around Pride, in the setting of ‘the third place.’ It was by far one of the most meaningful projects I’ve ever gotten to work with a big brand on. See the full set of illustrations here.

Wonder Brand Illustration

A suite of brand illustrations created for Wonder.me, a digital meeting space.

I was given a limited palette to play with, as well as great prescriptive direction in the creative brief. The concept was that element or person would be floating happily in an abstract space, with swooshes showing connectivity and motion. Each element had to work on three different background floods, so color choices had to be very intentional. Also the diverse range of people had to work at small scale for on phone screens, as well as on billboards for future advertising.

The process was so smooth and encouraging, thanks to Design Studio for helming the communication, concept, and strategic thinking, which let me simply fill in the blanks with illustration! For being on an extremely tight timeline, I couldn’t have been happier collaborating with a great team, and I love the way the work turned out. See the full set of illustrations here.

Booking.com Flash Deals Campaign

I recently worked with Booking.com on their Flash Deals campaign! It was amazing working with their creative team, as they were supportive and let me have quite a lot of freedom in content to include in the pieces. There were still versions of four different scenes, as well as animated versions, and some spot illustrations too!

Amazon Alexa Social Brand Illustration

Over the course of 2 years, I created almost endless amounts of illustration work for Amazon Alexa’s social media feeds. Throughout that time, using palette and repetitive use of texture and line themes, it began to shape the visual identity of Alexa. Approachable, friendly and smart, these illustrations create a world of imagination and play, while remaining accurate and tightly designed. See the full suite of illustration work I made here.
